Wow....

Ya ever have one of those weeks... where one word can sum it all up... good or bad...*L* Yeah... mine is WOW....
I suppose that's how my whole year has been....

Let's start with an update from the last time I posted:
Wednesday evening: Brad and I had our date, it was nice! We looked all over Hastings and Grand Island for the one thing Alyson really wanted, a Dora Talking House.... it was 54 at wally... so we go get it... not there... let me check, oh yeah guess we're out... good luck with that... so Brad and I are like... let's just run to GI then and see if we can get one from one of those walmarts.... so our first stop is Best Buy... I know... you figure out the reasoning on this one... Brad was driving...*L* they had a network card that we were getting for my brother on sale.... finally get up to the register, and it rings up at 53... I look at Brad with THAT look(ya know the one, $crew this, I am NOT paying that much for it, so you better say something before I kick you in the b@ll$ *christmas shopping makes me crazy*LOL* ) so this snotty girl is like, well it's a mail in rebate... so I gave Brad the death look... sinve he was positive that it wasn't... so ew finish checking out.... I'm like let's go... no I don't want to look at anything else here... I just wanna get what we need to and get out....
So I' m like, hey I wanna check at shopko... I always CHristmas shop at Shopko, and they took ours out 4 years ago... so it's kinda routine to go there when I am in GI.... so we go, and I wanna look around, and Brad is making me run through the store, and I finally got really mad... and was deliberately taking my time.... DON"T FREAKING RUSH ME... so we get over to the toy section much too soon... and there is ONE fricking house left.... But.. it's at 62 bucks... so I'm like, I don't care if we are standing in the aisle of SHOPKO, CALL the other walmarts and see if they have any because if I don't have to, I don't want to pay this for it! So Brad calls.... and they are all out... oh was I mad.... so we're looking around, and they have their toy section at buy one get one 50% off... so after being bullied into this price, I'm like what the heck... let's find something else.... and Aly really wanted a vanity set too... if we didn't get the house... so I found one... not the 84 dollar Cinderella one, but just a cheapy... and it was 20... so there ya go... we went to fazolis... it was nummy... and came home and wrapped our guts out, since we bought everyone's gifts that night....

Thursday: Delivered orders to Trumbull, and then got into a huge fight with my mom... almost canceled Christmas with them....

Friday: Not much went on, cleaning and such....Getting the last of Brad's gifts, and talking to my dad, and him telling me that I have to go talk to my mom about this stuff... blah blah blah.... collecting money on orders that were delivered, banking it... etc.... stopped at mom's to deliver my sister, who had gone shopping with me, and my grandma and uncle from Colorado were there... and then dad called, and thanked me for going over there... even though mom and I never really talked about it... it got pushed under the rug like it always does....

Christmas Eve: Spent the day baking pies, and having people come pick up orders... then went to my folks' for a good evening... with my dad's side of the family...aunt and her 3 grown children & their families there, my uncle from CO, my grandma and uncle that lives with her, my uncle Bill (he's mentally retarded, and lives in Hastings, but spends Christmas with my Grandma) and all my siblings.... so it was a full house.... and that's not even half of my dad's side of the family... made a few sales etc... last minute CHristmas gifts... came home, got my turkey ready to go...

Christmas Day: Brad worked the morning, so we did our Christmas in the afternoon before his family got here... so I spent the morning cooking, aly was busy playing with what Santa had brought her when we got home from my folks'... All in all we had a really good CHristmas....
his folks left around 6 or so... we went to see my family, and all decided to do our gift exchange that night, and still do our normal pizza the day after(we usually open gifts and have pizza on CHristmas Eve, but dad wasn't supposed to be home until late Christmas Day(he got home CHristmas Eve day), so we planned for the day after Christmas)
Yep so we had a busy week, last week... and this week has been just as crazy.... but it's all good... right?

So Thursday I had a doozy of an evening... we got groceries, I needed foil to package up the pork chops, so Brad ran to get it, he brings it back, I'm busy doing that, and my glasses just fall apart... well I'm pretty blind without them... and the lens fell into the trash, so Brad is looking for it.... he finds it for me, I go to do something in the bathroom, I don't even remember... well I freaking knock my warmer, that has a little delight in it all over, down the freaking sink... so I am freaking out... and have brad get me boiling water going... get it all cleaned up off the vanity, and start working on the sink... Brad brings my glasses, and the water is almost ready, and I'm rujnning our hot water... and it's going pretty good... well I get it to work, it's all clear.. woohoo go me... so I am looking at the sink, and the little plug had falledn in a little bit, so I kinda force it up so it drains faster, the whole thing pops out... as in the whole damn thing.... So Brad comes in, we are both thinking no biggie, clean it uip, put it back... do that, I go get the boiling water... start pouring it down... and I feel water splash m,y feet... So I holler, really sweetly, Brad can you come see if this water hitting my feet... he comes in I poour some more down, he's like nope... and walks out... as it's hitting my feet again... so I'm like what ever... so I look, and there is water... the whole pipe came undone... Brad sorta fixed it.... it needs completely done though, but the LL won't... and I don't have the money. so it's finxed until at least after the first of the year, when we pay rent....
anyway... that's all I have to say right now... We have another CHristmas thing tomorrow... so I need to get busy with what I am taking, and I have orders to get ready to go for tomorrow too... so yee-freaking-haw....
Have a good new years eve everyone!:)

I have a date....:)

I am so excited! I have a date with my husband tonight!:) We are going CHristmas shopping, and out to dinner....
We haven't been CHristmas shopping alone since the first year we were married.... I was pregnant, and we were broke... so it wasn't an overly enjoyable trip... I can remember crying because we couldn't buy anyone anything....

And all the years since then, we've been broke and Aly has been with us... so this is exciting.... Inspirational Lights has had an excellent year, plus the two jobs.... so while we aren't rolling in the dough, we do get to get everyone a few things...:) Plus we have a babysitter for tonight! Woohoo!

I am stressed though... I am awaiting a wax order righ tnow, so I am kinda stuck.... but tonight after we get back, I have orders to pour, probably be up all night doing that... then I have to deliver and arrange pickups for them tomorrow.... and then tomorrow afternoon we are doing cookies at mom's with the kids.... plus there is the dinner, and getting ready for that....
I tell ya... it's all good though...:)

Questions...:)

You know how it works... cut and paste and change my answers to your
own. Then forward this on to your friends. This one is a bit different
so
everyone should respond.

1. Do you like Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Both

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Santa leaves them in a chair...

3. What do you like, colored lights on tree/house or white?
depends...:) Our tree this year has both... out house has none... but I think it depends on how you are decorating... i.e theme....

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
nope...

5. When do you put your decorations up?
The day after Thanksgiving.....:)

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Stuffing... mom never makes it anymore though... she only makes stove top and tells me to tough it out...

7. What is your favorite holiday memory as a child?
I have plenty.... I remember we used to get together with Dorothy and the girls and do a cookie day..... we always had fun... or the other crafty things we did.... painting turkeys and grabbing Jenny's gobbler...

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
i don't remember the year... i remember comparing santa's handwriting on our letter to dad's... and what do ya know... a freaking match...

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Now we open one.... but as a kid we opened all of them on Christmas Eve...

10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him?
he doesn't.... maybe this year... the last few years aly didn't really care....

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
Love it... until it turns to ice...

12. Can you ice skate?
No... I'd probably kill myself... I can fall and hurt myself with any and everything....

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
Not anymore...

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
The greatest gift of all: Jesus, and my family...

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?
Pumpkin Pie...

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
We are slowly making our own.... since we became a family we've had everyone elses' pushed on us, so this year I am making our own....

17. What tops your tree?
An angel with a horn....

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?
Giving

19. What is your favorite Christmas Carol?
I love them all.... I could listen to them all the time...

20. Candy Canes! love em or hate em?
I dunno... for some reason I have this gag reflex when I think of stuff like that, but after I retaste it I'm fine.... same with lots of food things....

I suppose....

or rather hope someone may have missed me...*L*
HUGE computer problems.... that's all I can say without getting so angry I burst into flames....*LOL*

But Brad's brother was awesome enough to let us have his old laptop for Brad to use for school.... so I get to use it for business pruposes for now.... until we get a different one...:)
so that's where I've been.... tonight I am hoping to work on drawing.... I have missed it... not that I had orders for graphics just bowling my inbox over.... but I did for candles... woohoo....
anyway... I have to get my princess in the shower.... so I will post agian later... have a good one kids...:)

Saturday 8

Here's my Saturday 8
1. What kind of car do you currently drive? Right now? Brad;s folks are being kind enough to let us borrow one of theirs while we wait for the right time to get another one... And it is a 96 Pontiac Grand Prix

2. What is your dream car? A Toyota Rav 4

3. Mr. Laura is picking up an SUV today, a Toyota sequoia. My friend Chris is adamantly opposed to them. How do you feel about SUVs? Yea or nay? Yea... We are looking at small suvs....

4. My car, due to it being 13 years old, needs a few tweaks here & there ... BUT I have no car payment. Would you rather have a car that didn't need fixing from time to time, or a car payment? I dunno.... Both?*L* All cars need maintenance... But it would be SOOOOOOOOO nice to have a new car without a payment.... Fairy godmother...;)

5. Are you happy with your car now, or would you rather have a different one? That's kind of a dumb question considering what I just told you about it not being ours...*LOL*

6. I have driven a truck, a convertible, and an antique automobile in my lifetime. If you could have a different type of car for your different needs (family, fun, road trip), which kinds of cars would you choose, and why?I really don't know... Just one that we didn't have to worry about having to fix all the time would be dandy....

7. My heater & a/c alternate between working & not working, but what is really dangerous is that my wipers sometimes don't work for no apparent reason. What quirk on your car do you need to fix the most? *L* The white car had so many quirks that most of the time it didn't run right....

8. When do you see getting a new(er) car? Six months? A year? We are hoping soon, but are waiting on God to say Yes on that one....

So...

it's snowing....(LOL)
Nevermind...
Anyway!
News to report: We finlly got our credit back from Pizza Hut! Oh wait... I didn't tell ya about that! So Sunday night we ordered a pizza from PH, it gets here, we think nothing of it, eat drink adn are merry.... Monday rolls around,, Brad runs to the bank on his lunch break that turned into the end of his day since it was storming, and he comes home and he's telling me something isn't right with the bank... and I'm like WHAT? and he's said well we're like 85 dollars shorter than we thought we were.... we had monEY IN THERE SET SIDE FOR HIS STUDENT LOAN(sorry caps lock) his loan pymnt was like 180 this time.... anyway, we check our account online, and everything looks right as we scroll through... and all of a sudden it's there: PIzza Hut not only deducted the amount of the pizza, but also a charge of 85. and some odd cents... you wanna talk about being a not so happy camper? I was livid.... so Brad calls, and the manager said he just seen that, and that we would be credited back the full amount(no shit sherlock) and the amount of our pizza. and that he's very sorry, he doens't understand how it happened, and how it went through 3 of his employees and no one said anything.
So we call the bank they understand what is going on, and put a note on our account that if this causes any problems in our account, how to deal with it(i.e. kill pizza hut) it took until FRIDAY to get this all straightened out.... oh and they didn't credit us for our pizza... that kinda ticked me off since they are the ones who messed up... but oh well....

Aly and are ready for Christmas....*L* WE are really enjoying the season....:) She's been awesome the last week or so.... it's been a nice change! I like not having to get after her all the time, and I m hoping she likes not hving me get after her all the time....
I hate this keyboard with a passion... it is a pain in my rear end.... the a doesn't always work, and it randomly capitalizes letters...it is freaking nuts.....
I had a bunch of stuff I was going to post about... but I'm a numnut and forgot....
Anyway... I'm off to cuddle with my munchkin and watch Christmas Classics on the family channel!

Winter Wonderlnd....:)

I thought I'd share our snow pictures.... one from what it looked like at 1:30 yesterday, and then what it looks like today....

Your Hat Personality Is A

Cowboy Hat

We got snow....

the other day.... not much.... just a skiff... It's gone...*L* BUt it's snowing again.... woohoo!:) Love the snow.... (remind me of this post later when I am complaining about it!;) )

Today we had to do grocery shopping and out to walmart to get the things we need.... it was great.... yep... great....
Brad, as much as I love him, is irritating me... so I'm either in severe PMS, or pregnant.... becaue normally it's not like that.... poor guy.... he's trying to hard to make life better for us... and all I am doing is ripping his head off....

He got the school thing all straightened out today, classes are ready for him to start, and he found out that his credits from k-state did get transferred afterall... and here we've been trying to figure out where they've been for almost 6 years! they sure haven't minded taking our money everytime we we write them to get them transferred....
But he only has to get 20-something credits and then he is officially finished! this semester is flash, and visual basic...
we are hoping to be able to get new computers soon.... hopefully after the first of the year... because this thing is about to die.... and we both miss having our own...
Anyway..... it's time to play with my child....:) SHe has the barbies already out...

The Tea Cup

>There was a couple who went to England to shop in a beautiful antique store
>
>They both liked antiques and pottery, and especially tea cups.
>On a trip to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary they found an
>exceptional cup.
>They asked, "May we see that cup?
>We've never seen a tea cup quite so beautiful."
>
>
>As the lady handed it to them, suddenly the tea cup spoke,
>"You don't understand." the cup said, "I have not always been a tea cup.
>There was a time when I was just a lump of red clay.
>My master took me and rolled me, pounded
>
>and patted me over and over, and I yelled out,
>'Don't do that. I don't like it! "Let me alone,'
>but the potter only smiled, and gently said, "Not yet!"
>
>"Then, WHAM! I was placed on a spinning wheel and
>
>suddenly I was spun around and around and around.
>
>'Stop it! I'm getting so dizzy! I'm going to be sick!' I screamed.
>But the master only nodded and said, quietly, "Not yet."
>
>
>He spun me and poked and prodded and
>
>bent me out of shape to suit himself and then...
>Then he put me in the oven. I never felt such heat.
>
>I yelled and knocked and pounded at the door.
>'Help! Get me out of here!'
>I could see him through the opening and
>
>I could read his lips as he shook his
>
>head from side to side, "Not yet."
>
>
>When I thought I couldn't bear it another minute, the door opened.
>He carefully took me out and put me on the shelf, and I began to cool.
>Oh, that felt so good! 'Ah, this is much better,' I thought.
>But, after I cooled, he picked me up and
>
>he brushed and painted me all over.
>The fumes were horrible. I thought I would gag.
>'Oh, please; Stop it, Stop it!!' I cried.
>He only shook his head and said. "Not yet!"
>
>
>Then suddenly he put me back in to the oven.
>
>Only it was not like the first one.
>This was twice as hot and I just knew I would suffocate.
>
>I begged. I pleaded. I screamed. I cried.
>I was convinced I would never make it.
>
>I was ready to give up.
>Just then the door opened and he took me out and
>
>again placed me on the shelf, where I cooled and waited...
>and waited, wondering what's he going to do to me next?
>
>
>An hour later he handed me a mirror
>
>and said "Look at yourself."
>And I did. I said, 'That's not me; That couldn't be me.
>
>It's beautiful... "I'm beautiful!"
>
>Quietly he spoke: "I want you to remember,
>
>then," he said, "I know it hurt to be rolled and patted,
>
>but had I left you alone, you'd have dried up."
>"I know it made you dizzy to spin around on the wheel,
>
>but if I had stopped, you would have crumbled."
>"I know it hurt and it was hot and disagreeable in the oven,
>
>but if I hadn't put you there, you would have cracked."
>"I know the fumes were bad when I brushed and painted you all over,
>
>but if I hadn't done that, you never would have hardened.
>You would not have had any color in your life.
>If I hadn't put you back in that second oven,
>
>you wouldn't have survived for long
>because the hardness would not have held.
>Now you are a finished product. Now you are what
>
>I had in mind when I first began with you."
>
>The moral of this story is this:
>God knows what He's doing in each of us.
>He is the potter, and we are His clay.
>He will mold us and make us, and expose us to
>
>just enough pressures of just the right kinds
>that we may be made into a flawless piece of work
>
>to fulfill His good, pleasing and perfect will.
>
>So when life seems hard,
>and you are being pounded and patted and
>
>pushed almost beyond endurance;
>when your world seems to be spinning out of control;
>when you feel like you are in a fiery furnace of trials;
>when life seems to "stink", try this...
>Brew a cup of your favorite tea in your prettiest tea cup,
>sit down and think on this story and then...
>
>Have a little talk with the Potter!

It's just another....

Tuesday here....*L*
The usual, the car had problems last night while I was driving... (keep in mind this Brad's folks' car that they brought us to use) so that freaked me out.... now I gotta try to figure out what's wrong with it.... not actually me... but you know what I mean.... I'm thinking battery... yeah... I know.... don't look at me... they said they've had problems with it for awhile.... Thanks.
*LOL*
So this morning I think I got time for a good workout followed by a hot shower... get my workout going, aly gets up... I thought I was safe since she was up late last night.... no go there.... so I finsh my workout, go in to shower, Aly decided she wanted one too, so she hops in with me... okay no biggie... in and out usually... we finish getting the conditioner out of our hair, and everything rinsed, I tell her to turn the handle to off on the shower (remember my last shower problem, well the new one turns on funny, it's kind of a pisser, ya end up with cold water splashing you before ya get it off) she flips it to hot. HOT.... so we're both being scalded, and trying to get up to get it turned off, I move the shower head the other way so that it isn't getting us, and the freaking thing falls off.... it just falls off.... so we are still being scsalded just at a more intense stream.... and I start laughing.... I dunno what else to do lately.... God has great sense of humor I tell ya....

DO YOU SMELL THAT?
A cold March wind danced around the dead of night in Dallas as the doctor walked into the small hospital room of Diana Blessing. She was still groggy from surgery.
Her husband, David, held her hand as they braced themselves for the latest news.
That afternoon of March 10, 1991, complications had forced Diana, only 24-weeks pregnant, to undergo an emergency Cesarean to deliver couple's new daughter, Dana Lu Blessing. At 12 inches long and weighing only one pound nine ounces, they already knew she was perilously premature. Still, the doctor's soft words dropped like bombs. "I don't think she's going to make it," he said, as kindly as he could. "There's only a 10-percent chance she will live through the night, and even then, if by some slim chance she does make it, her future could be a very cruel one." Numb with disbelief, David and Diana listened as the doctor described the devastating problems Dana would likely face if she survived.
She would never walk, she would never talk, she would probably be blind, and she would certainly be prone to other catastrophic conditions from cerebral palsy to complete mental retardation, and on and on.
"No! No!" was all Diana could say. She and David, with their 5-year-old son Dustin, had long
dreamed of the day they would have a daughter to become a family of four. Now, within a matter of hours, that dream was slipping away. But as those first days passed, a new agony set in for David and Diana. Because Dana's underdeveloped nervous system was essentially 'raw', the lightest kiss or caress only intensified her discomfort, so they couldn't even cradle their tiny baby girl against their chests to offer the strength of their love. All they could do, as Dana struggled alone beneath the ultraviolet light in the tangle of tubes and wires, was to pray that God would stay close to their precious little girl. There was never a moment when Dana suddenly grew stronger. But as the weeks went by, she did slowly gain an ounce of weight here and an ounce of strength there. At last, when Dana turned two months old, her parents were able to hold her in their arms for the very first time. And two months later, though doctors continued to gently but grimly warn that her chances of surviving, much less living any kind of normal life, were next to zero, Dana went home from the hospital, just as her mother had predicted. Five years later, when Dana was a petite but feisty young girl with glittering gray eyes and an unquenchable zest for life. She showed no signs whatsoever of any mental or physical impairment. Simply, she was everything a little girl can be and more.
But that happy ending is far from the end of her story. One blistering afternoon in the summer of 1996 near her home in Irving, Texas, Dana was sitting in her mother's lap in the bleachers of a local ball park where her brother Dustin's baseball team was practicing. As always, Dana was chattering nonstop with her mother and several other adults sitting nearby when she suddenly fell silent. Hugging her arms across her chest, little Dana asked, "Do you smell that?" Smelling the air and detecting the approach of a thunderstorm, Diana replied, "Yes, it smells like rain." Dana closed her eyes and again asked, "Do you smell that?" Once again, her mother replied, "Yes, I think we're about to get wet. It smells like rain." Still caught in the moment, Dana shook her head, patted her thin shoulders with her small hands and loudly announced, "No, it smells like Him. It smells like God when you lay your head on His chest." Tears blurred Diana's eyes as Dana happily hopped down to play with the other children. Before the rains came, her daughter's words confirmed what Diana and all the members of the extended Blessing family had known, at least in their hearts, all along. During those long days and nights of her first two months of her life, when her nerves were too sensitive for them to touch her, God was holding Dana on His chest and it is His loving scent that she remembers so well.

The love of God is like the ocean, you can see its beginning, but not its end.

Today's to do list:
Laundry:
partially done (still 1 load in the dryer, everything else folded and put away)

Pour candles:
Done

Paint with Aly:
Done!:) And cleaned up!

Put finishing touches on candle, and get them ready to ship:

Decide on what we are having for dinner:
Done! Having pigs in a blanket (shuddup will ya.... I needed quick, since mr. b has to work at 6 tonight...)

Pick Up: *snort* Tried.... need to do again (how does a house get so messy, when the 4yrold knows she has to clean up after herself?)

Yeah I know there's more I need to do.... but we'll see how this goes...*LOL*
*love and hugs*

Can you Imagine?

This was forwarded to me... but almost all of these... yes I can... having lived through it with Alyson... it's heartbreaking... and I still feel those pains everytime I think about what she had to go through... but that pain is nothing compared to the joy I experience everytime I see her grin at me, feel her little arms wrapping around me for a hug, hear her laughing and talking, see her playing...God was good to us, and I know it doesn't always end this way for other families that go through it....

Can you Imagine?

· Having your baby at 26 weeks?

· Skin so transparent that you can see every vien?

· Feet as small as a paper clip?

· Your husband’s wedding ring fitting on their thigh?

· Not being able to hold your child for the first 5 weeks of life?

· Watching your son crash 7 times in a row while doctor’s frantically work to keep him alive?

· Seeing tubes, IV's, Chest tubes and wires connected to your child?

· Having no control over what happens?

· Seeing your son addicted to morphine at 2 months old?

I can. Premature mothers don’t have to imagine all of this; this is a reality for many of our children.

I have to vent for a moment....

I am REALLY, REALLY sick of things...
First: We got the shower fixed on Thursday! Yeehaw...;) That really was great news! Today, the car is pretty much dead... And granted, we knew it was coming... but CRIPES.... I am just.... GRRRRRRRR..........
I am really tired of people calling or email me and making sure I'm going to be home at a certain time or day, etc.. because they are going to come over, and I clear that time slot for them... AND THEY DON"T SHOW UP..... No phone calls or emails explaining why... NOTHING>>>....

I am freaking sick of the people at mr. b's 2nd job.... someone is always calling him in early, or asking him to work their shifts.... Today it's the ass. (abbrv. there on purpose) manager... AGAIN... she's so sick, blah blah blah, come in early.... he tells her he'll come in as soon as he can, but since he wasn't supposed to work till, noon and he's on his bike, he isn't sure how much early it will be... that was at like 9:30 AM.... (her shift started at 5:00) so about 10:45 we get a call from the manager saying that he needs to come in early, because the ass manager, is sick, and the manager wants to go home.... NOW WHY SHOULD MY HUSBAND HAVE TO DO THEIR FREAKING JOBS?!?!?!!? Neither of them really work.... and they are always leaving early, etc.... if this was a one time thing I wouldn't think anything of it, but this is like every freaking time he is scheduled.... it's getting old.. and I'm getting pissy about it....
Good morning to me....

My Monday....

Let's see.... my child has been starting to get... so i spent most of the day dealing.... swept, got down on my hands and knees to scrub the floors, rearranged our bedroom, rearranged the living room, cleaned the bathroom, cleaned the kitchen, folded laundry.... then the shower broke right before brad left.... the thingy you push in to turn it to shower.... yeah well that thing flew out at me and almost killed me while i was trying to get aly's shower ready.... so after i got the munchkin down, i started working on the cart, and that took me from 7:30 till right before brad got home at 12:30..... it was great... it was grand..... anyway it's done... and i got most the holiday lotto up, and got gingerbread lane ready to be turned on.... resorted the products according to scent instead of by product.... and then my poor child got up and stayed up because she couldn't get comfy....

Wednesday

Just another day here...;)
Payday, Brad ended up paying the bills, got my menu and grocery list made out.... need to fold the laundry I washed today... and Brad went off to work... I was a grand wife and we had McDonalds for dinner...*L* I didn't feel like cooking, plus there isn't much here left to be cooked... got to get the groceries....
Right now we are trying to catch up on bills that would have been paid, but we had to put them off to get us down to his grandma's funeral, and there was the hotel room, and feeding the kiddos... it was just too much for the ol bank account to handle right now....

But we're gonna get it done... WE're sticking to our budget, and we know what we have to work with for groceries and we stick to our menus.... so it's all good right?

I think my brother is coming over to play scrabble with me before he goes to work (he works just down the street from us) Brad is at the 2nd job agian... so after ALy goes to bed I get kinda bored... I should draw... but, eh.... I will later... right now I am just plain ol tired...:)
anyway.... Off to pop the monkey girl into the shower, it's 6, and we need to get plently of reading time in before she goes to bed!:) I need to do my memes soon....:)
MAybe tonight....

Life as I know it... Sunday

I haven't done a meme since I moved my blog.... I know... ya'll are asking WHICH TIME?!?!?!? I don't plan on moving it again for awhile... so ya should be safe...
I need to go get busy and clean out my tester jars... I have tested a few others that are really really nice.... I can't wait to be able to add them...
I've been testing some of my new jars with new wicks.... and I must say, I am pretty pleased with my results so far! The jar is staying cool, and even though it seems slow to start, it catches up... and the wick is burning VERY clean! I'm really excited!
I think I might start a business blog... just so ya'll don't always have to read this stuff if you don't want to...:)
Okay anyway.... I gotta go.... Brad gets off at noon today... sohe'll be home by 12:30 and I need to get lunch ready.... Have a great Sunday everyone!

Not alot to say right now.... we're back! I ended up really sick and couldn't make it to the funeral part... I hated that.... I wanted to be there for Brad... felt like a failure of a wife...
Aly fell and hurt her knee this afternoon... couldn't stand on it for awhile! Had me worried! So I gave her tylenol and toys, and the remote and set her up on the couch with something cold on it to wait for daddy to get home.... she's better now...
Tomorrow we are haiving our usual Sunday at my folks'... we ar having turkey*drools* I'm in charge of the pumpkin pies... I hope they turned out okay....

I don't know if I told you this the other day, but Saturday, Brad's dad flew up to get him, and take him down to visit his grandma, since she has been sick, and Friday they decided toh ave hospice come in... Anyway so he flew down there, his dad brought him back that day... today we got a voice message (brad has his phone on silent during work) that said that his grandma had passed away...
she was such a sweet lady... I will miss her... Brad's extended family is mennonite, his immediate family, and obviously, us... are not... it will be... difficult to say the least... I am and will always be an outsider and not welcomed into the family... so the funeral shall be.... uncomfortable...
We could really use your prayers.... Brad's dad is taking this really hard...

Thursday...:)

Just another day...:) The same ol routine...
Got orders poured, need to get them fnished off in the morning...
Two of my sisters are staying with us tonight... but I have to get them up early and ready to send off to my granmother's int he morning so that they can clean there... then mom is bringing all the kids back over and we are going to do some craft things with them... the munchkin princess will be excited!
B. is going to be doing some follow up calls to some apps he sent out.... we are praying that he gets them... even though they each pay better.... we'd stll need them both... especially with winter coming on...
Pray for us though... the car is ready to roll over and die any day now... we only use it when we have no other way to go with out it... Brad rides his bike to both jobs... and it's just.... ugh... We are trying to figure out how to get a different vehicle... which should be easy right? WRONG.... no one wants to help you when you've fled fopr b/r... and I am tired of having to explain WHY we had to file.... like we really wanted to live on the credit cards while Aly was in the NICU... I tried to make it all work as long as I could... there was no way out... anyway... when we find someone who is willing to help us... they want us to only get vehicles with payments of over 300... and we already know that we can't go beyond 200... so... we wait... and pray...:)
I need to go get some visiting done... I haven't been to my favorite blogs in quite awhile...:) MIss you all! *hugs8 SEe you in a few!

Life as I know it... Today...

Honestly? I am just.... I don't even know! Lately I feel like my life treadmill is going super fast, and I am falling off... and just can't keep up...
The Munchkin has been having a melt down since Saturday... NOT PRETTY.... I really don't know what happened... when we left her at my folks
on Friday night(the first night away from us, EVER, since she got out of the NICU) she was fine.... Saturday she gets home and is a living terror... I have no clue what is even going on with her! SHe is finally coming back into the little girl that she usually is... but this is after how many days of writing on walls with colors, painting the kitchen floor with glue, painting all over her hands with nail polish... and there are several other things... I just don't have the energy to go into... so I am trying to recover all te bases that we've gone over... and she knows her limits... and it's just.... UGH>... life as a parent... I tell ya.... the dh has been working all the time... he had a vacation from job #1... but job #2 worked his @$$ off... and we don't have a day together until Saturday... he finally has the day off from both jobs.... He's been working on filling out apps at other places and stuff too... it's just been.... crazy....But I know that God has a handle on it, even though I don't... so it's all good!
OKay off to work on letters with the munchkin!

testing....

:)
